- Gene expression profiling by using qRT-PCR technique and cDNA array belong to the main methodical tools which are established in the Laboratory of molecular biology (MOB). Different farmaceutical and cosmetic raw materials are studied on a transcriptional level with the aim to monitor such properties as their antiiflammatory, photoprotective and wound healing effects. The entry bio- systems for the observing are both, cell cultures and different cell lines, but also epidermal-layers of keratinocytes from stratum corneum that are obtained directly from the skin by using a stripping method. Gene therapy on the basis of antisense oligodeoxynucleotide delivery is the another promising approach that is hardly studied there.
