Laboratory of drug delivery systems
- Laboratory of drug delivery systems (LTS) is a part of the Research and Development, which main function is to study the physical properties of polysaccharides. Development in the Laboratory of Drug Delivery Systems can be divided into three groups.
- The main scope of employment is to study the behaviour of biopolymers in the solutions and their stability during the sterilization. Thanks to our unexceptionable instrumentation, we are able to measure the rheological properties, particle size or zeta potential of studied systems.
- The second area of our research, as the name of the lab prompt, is to investigate how to delivery drugs into human body, especially using liposome and magnetic carriers. Finally, but definitely no lastly, we focus on biological active bandages for healing the chronicle wounds that could help many people to live better live.
